Newly-elected Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi could not have hoped for better. The United States has decided to eliminate Cairo’s dept with a $1 billion debt-relief payment.
The economic good-will by the White House is critical for Morsi at this time as he continues working to shed his image of being closely connected to the Islamic Brotherhood. The move by the United States sends a clear signal of approval for Morsi from the White House, one that may sway some opinions in Germany, where the government currently opposes a deal to sell Cairo advanced submarines for its navy. Such a deal would be viewed as problematic at best by Israel as German subs in Egyptian hands would significantly shift the balance of power in the region against Israel’s favor.
The United States gave the Egyptian government of Hosni Mubarak annual military assistance amounting to $1.3 billion.

Another brilliant strategic move to woo the jewish vote in the upcoming election. Sometimes I really wonder if Obama is playing with a full deck.
As you see, in Obama’s universe, it pays to be muslim and a threat to your neighbors and humanity.
Can’t wait for Michelle and daughters to wear burqas. What a stupid idiot. Whoever voted and will vote for him-shame on you.
The White House had a Cairo department? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised…
