It has been reported that Hamas and Fatah have signed an agreement, bringing an end to hostilities between the factions. PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) announced that any Hamas member who will serve as a cabinet minister will have to recognize the existence of the State of Israel.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has announced he is cutting off talks with the PA until Hamas recognizes the State of Israel and agrees to disarm.
On that very note, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, the former prime minister of Gaza, released a message on Tuesday, 11 Cheshvan, explained Hamas is not about to abandon its weapons of resistance against the occupation. The terrorist leader released his statements at the funerals for terrorists killed earlier this week when Israel detonated a terrorist tunnel originating in the Khan Yunis area.
Arutz-7 News adds that Haniyeh also spoke of Gaza’s mission, which remains the “liberation of Palestine” and that the actions of the martyrs remains the “enduring legacy” for all to emulate.
