Last Thursday police arrested two suspects, residents of Elad, aged 18 and 16, on suspicion of stealing tzedaka funds.
The two were arrested during a routine patrol of policemen on Route 444, the Givat Koach Junction, when they noticed a suspicious vehicle standing by the side of the road.
The policemen approached the road and noticed that a minor was sitting in it. In search of the vehicle, they found tzedaka boxes suspected of being stolen in break-ins, thousands of shekels along with tools that could be used for burglaries.
It appears they broke into a mikve and made off with tzedaka boxes. The investigation continues, and the suspects remain under house arrest.
