As part of the ordered crackdown against illegal aliens, immigration police have raided a number of yeshivos in search of illegal foreigners. One of the yeshivos raided was Mir Brechfeld in Modi’in Illit, where three Eritreans employed by the yeshiva were taken into custody.
Officials are warning directors of yeshivos, explaining that if they are apprehended employing illegal foreigners the yeshiva will face a 30,000 NIS fine.

Interesting with 50,000+ illegal aliens inhabiting this tiny country they raided yeshivos. Probably just coincidence.
Maybe they shouldn’t be hiring them ..
It seems reasonable. Unlike the illegal immigrants from third world countries who provide a cheap source of non-Arab labors, the yeshiva students are undermining Israel’s secular culture. Many of them marry and start producing hordes of frum children, further weakening the zionist character of the Medinah. So it makes sense that the police will concentrate on weeking out people who in the country, illegally learning Torah.
