Last erev shabbos, for the second time in as many weeks, readers of the Eida Chareidis weekly “The Eida” realized the publication did not hit the stands. According to rumors circulating in the Geula Meah Shearim area, the weekly edition will not be published this week either.
It appears that infighting is the cause of the disruption in service, as the Dushinsky faction blames the others of compromising the integrity of their rebbe zt”l, as if the late tzaddik assisted in the established of the “Zionist” state according to a recent article addressing the drafting of avreichim.
As a result of that article, a notice was circulated calling on subscribers to cancel. Adding to the tensions Chadrei Chareidim reports “some askanim were furious over the coverage given to the levaya of Maran Rav Elyashiv zt”l.
Chadrei reports the dispute reached new heights when the Badatz Eida Chareidis involved itself in the dispute surrounding kevarim in Beit Shemesh, sending Asra Kadisha members to that site. The Eida decided that its representatives along with one Asra representative will supervise construction towards advancing the building in that location.
This was viewed as an unwanted interference by the badatz, a blow to the kovod of Asra Kadisha. Making things worse, some of the Eida Magazine officials wanted to do an article on it, a piece that signaled the badatz’s rabbonim no longer rely upon Asra Kadisha as they did in the past. The others opposed such a write up.
Add to all of this the opposition of the Ravaad HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita to Asra Kadisha, and things look bleak for a resumption of the weekly The Eida.
For now, no one is talking so what remains it to wait and see if the new issue will hit the stands or will subscribers be disappointed for a third consecutive week.

I DONT BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD FROM BECHADREI CHAREIDIM!!
The Eida Chareidis is a very loose knit coalition of very diverse groups. In the early days of the return, when numbers were small, everyone had to cooperate in order to survive. Now all the various groups are large and can more or less function on their own. So it is inevitable that latent, fundamental differences would come out. I suspect we will see many more such conflicts and eventually the breakup of the Eida Chareidis.
What happened to the “Schwartz Family Newsletter?”
The world has been left wondering what happened to yet another edition of the Schwartz Family Newsletter. Many articles in Chadrei Chareidim have discussed the infighting and family broigis that have led to this reality. Some say that the Newsletter simply got lost in the mail. However, from to all the Askanim involved with this underworld of family newsletters report that the eldest Schwartz brother simply stopped printing the Newsletter because the but to various authors of the articles simply have horribble English skills. He simply thinks the bad spelinng and lack of editing of the newsletter has left it with run-on sentinces, wierd syntax, imbarrising speelling mystakes and the publishers simply can’t take the lack of the kavod of the problem so they think that maybe they should simply simplify the whole problem by simply not publishing the newsletter to the absolute detriment of the disappointed subscribers.
Shmuely Schwartz, who spoke on condition of anonimity, told this reporter that he simply thinks his brother doesn’t learn enough Gemara. He attributes the lack of interesting and useful articles to the fact that the writers simply have too much time on their hands and don’t apply themselves to their learning. Meanwhile, Chaim Levi responded that Shmuely simply is a big fat loser and that he just likes to write articles that are full of useless loishen hara.
It seems like the whole entire world will just have to wait and see what will happen to this popular Newsletter while they sit around being mevatel Torah on Shabbos afternoon.
First they were unable to live in peace with the Medina. Now the Eidah Hachareidis is unable to live in peace with itself. This isn’t principled kana’us. This is pettiness, intolerance, and ignorance.
