An Arab male on Tuesday morning 10 Elul 5772 tried to take over the Shomron archeological site near Maale Levona known as Khan Luban. He began hurling rocks at vehicles passing the area and attacked a Jewish male with an axe. B’chasdei Hashem the male was only grazed in his upper torso with the axe, sustaining light-to-moderate injuries.

It is unclear if the attacker was apprehended.
