The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed to KABC News, that four passengers were killed in a mid-air plane collision involving two small Cessnas in Los Angeles. Two of the fatalities in collision were occupants in the airplanes and two were killed on the ground.
According to an FAA spokesman, the two planes collided at 3:35PM approximately a mile away from Corona Municipal Airport, and just north of the Riverside (91) Freeway.
