Israel Electric Company technicians were working last week to modernize the infrastructure for Chazon Ish Street and the surrounding area of Bnei Brak, replacing outdated equipment.

An incident that occurred a week earlier led to a string of outages which led to the utility company making some changes in the local infrastructure. Technicians began working on motzei shabbos and continued around-the-clock in an effort to prevent additional area power outages.
