Israeli border police at the Allenby Bridge Crossing from Jordan prevented dozens of European and North American pro-PA (Palestinian Authority) activists from crossing from Jordan into Israel under the “Welcome to Palestine” banner. Officials believe many of the activists are affiliated with the radical left-wing anarchists and the decision was made to ban them from entering.

The activists explain they were not “even permitted to get off the bus” but their passports were collected and then returned, stamped “entry denied”.

Most of the group numbering 85 was French activists and they were responding to an invitation extended to them by the PA mayor of PA occupied Beit Lechem.
