The winner of a Israel Lands Administration tender for the construction of 486 housing units are non-profits representing the interests of the chareidi tzibur. That means the new housing units in the western area of Netivot will be allocated for chareidi couples, significantly contributing to the city’s chareidi community, the 680 existing units.
Spearheading the efforts is Minister of Housing (Shas) R’ Ariel Atias, who expressed delight over the tender and the reality that hundreds of new homes are slated for young chareidi couples. Eligible young couples will be entitled to a 100,000 NIS subsidy from the government.
