HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevy Wosner Shlita, the Baal Shevet Halevy has entered into his 100th year בשעה טובה.

As such, the rav asked to be a sandek to mark his birthday. The rav was sandek for a must fortunate boy whose identity is not known at the time of this report.

Rav Wosner is Rosh Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin and Rav of the Zichron Meir community of Bnei Brak. The gadol hador is also a staunch supporter of the city’s mora d’asra, HaGaon HaRav Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau Shlita. As such, he took part in the last Siyum HaRambam on 11 Nissan, marking the completion of the 30th cycle of daily Rambam as instituted by the Lubavitcher Rebbe ZT”L ZY”A.
