    The moment you press the button to start the microwave, you know it was a mistake. You hear a high pitched scream so deep that you could drown in it. The sound surrounds you, and so does the guilt. You are responsible for the destruction of millions of bacteria. Only then does it dawn on you that bacteria have neither lungs nor larynxes. The scream is your own.
