A resident of the Arab community of Kafr Kassam is in custody and suspected of being the man who made off with dozens of computers from a Bnei Brak seminary.
The school on Aharonovich Street in the city filed an official complaint with police, reporting the theft of 48 computers. The break-in occurred during the bein hazmanim, when the building if empty, an easy target.
A 29-year-old Arab male from Kafr Kassam was taken into custody. When police arrived at his home to conduct a search, they found the missing computers. The computers were returned to the school in time for Rosh Chodesh Elul.
School officials showered police with praise over the quick action and success in the case.
