At least thirty Kassam rockets landed in the western Negev early Wednesday morning, 11 of them at Ashkelon and 12 at Sderot. Bichasdei Hashem, only one person was lightly wounded in Sderot by shrapnel.
Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for some of the attacks, saying that it was in retaliation for the killing of the groups top West Bank terrorist in an IDF operation in Jenin on Wednesday morning.
The IDF retaliated for today’s attacks, but accidentally killed three civilians – military sources confirmed to Haaretz. The sources told Haaretz said that the strike targeted a car carrying a group of terrorists who had fired rockets at Israel, but that for an unknown reason the missiles hit a different car in the area.
Meanwhile, business tycoon Arkady Gaydamak announced plans Wednesday to evacuate Sderot teens aged 13 to 20 from the town over the weekend, in order to give them a break from the rocket attacks.

I think they must step up their response to any activity whatsoever and as soon as something happens, they should respond with shock and awe that will teach them a lesson, by playing tit for tat it can go on for ever .
