Israel Health Ministry officials confirm that a quantity of fish from ‘Shaare Revacha’ located at 25 Yirmiyahu Street in Jerusalem was tainted.
On 21 Elul, health inspectors visited the store with local city and kashrus inspectors. During their inspection, they found a quantity of fish that was unfit for human consumption. They were also selling fish products that lacked proper production certification.
The handling, storage and marketing of meat, poultry and fish products failed to comply with the conditions required by health law and this may harm the public.
At the order of the district veterinarian, 50 kg of fish products were destroyed. The Ministry of Health and the Jerusalem Municipality are taking enforcement measures against the food business.

They don’t sell fresh fish, so does anyone know what was affected?
