Israeli Ambassador to Washington Dr. Michael Oren blames Iran for the attack along Israel’s southern border on Sunday night, which claimed the lives of 15 Egyptian policemen. Oren explained that Iran’s continued support for global jihad terrorism is responsible for this as well as a night of rocket fire into southern Israeli civilian population centers.

The ambassador added “The thwarted attack underscores the length to which the extremist regime in Iran will attempt to kill innocent Israelis.”

Officials report that a truck laden with explosives was detonated along the Kerem Shalom Crossing into southern Israel while the terrorists entered the crossing in an armored personnel carrier taken in the terror assault in the Egyptian base earlier. B’chasdei Hashem the assault was neutralized due to the precise response of the IAF.
