A Jewish man was assaulted by a number of Arabs close to 01:00 on Sunday morning near Shar Shechem. The victim did not require transport to a hospital baruch Hashem.

When border police arrived on the scene they were targeted with rocks, as were emergency medical personnel that responded to the scene. In addition, number 1 and 3 buses heading to the Kosel were targeted with rocks resulting in injuries to 16 passengers, 5 of whom were transported to local hospitals. Their injuries were described as light.

Two Arab males were taken into custody, suspected of assaulting the victim at Shar Shechem.
