A Jerusalem yeshiva bachur dehydrated during a hike in Nachal Amud in northern Israel on Tuesday.
Ichud Hatzalah received the call during the afternoon hours explaining the victim “was not feeling well” after walking for about an hour. The EMTs found the young man, who apparently dehydrated, and they carried him about an hour to the waiting ambulance that transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.
EMS officials stress that persons heading out for summer hikes must be equipped with ample quantities of water and hikers must drink regularly, even if they are not thirsty. In addition, one should wear appropriate clothing, apply sun screen and wear a hat to protect from the harsh midday Mideast sun.

This happens every day all over the world so what is the big news?
If only one bachur get dehydrated on a summer tiyul, that is indeed a miracle.
the big deal was the wilderness rescue. They had to carry him over difficult terrain for an hour.
