On Friday morning, the Bochrim of Yeshiva Toras Chaim Toras Emes of Miami participated in a question/answer session regarding various Halachos that can arise with a hurricane – especially on Shabbos. The Shailos were presented to HaRav Ephraim Friedman from Chicago via audio hook up.

The Yeshiva has taken many precautions ahead of the storm.

The Yeshiva has a brand new dormitory which was built three years that is hurricane-proof. The Yeshiva will be staying inside that building, and tons of food and water has already been brought in there.

Two of the Roshei Yeshiva will be spending the storm on campus with their families as well.

The Yeshiva is located in North Miami Beach which is much more elevated then Miami Beach, and historically has not seen flooding from hurricanes.
