As Jews continue their efforts to rebuild once Jewish areas of the capital that have been overrun by Arabs, police evicted an Arab family from a home in the Shimon HaTzaddik (Sheikh Jarrah) on Tuesday morning 14 Elul.
The latest case in point is a Jewish home taken over by Arabs during the Jordanian occupation, from 1948 up to 1967. The has remained in the hands of the Arab occupiers, until the court order was obtained by the rightful Jewish owner.
Jerusalem Councilman Aryeh King praised the move, as one who continues efforts to restore the Jewish presence to Arab-occupied areas of the capital.
