I wonder how old, but don’t want to put CA on the spot. In younger grades, it’s not usually departmentalized. (unrelated point) I believe studies have shown no benefit to homework in younger grades.
My kids have gone to schools with a system in place for all that.
I’m curious as to what system that is. I thought of two approaches, but don’t know how feasible they are in reality; either a principal can see all assignments and tell teachers to adjust as necessary, or each teacher can be allotted a cerain amount of time (e.g 3-5 minutes).
