The meeting of the combined Moetzos Gedolei Torah of Agudas Yisrael, Shas and Degel Hatorah is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 16 Elul. The venue for the meeting is yet to be set. If the event is hosted in Bnei Brak, there is a better chance that HaGaon HaRav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita will participate, at least in part due to the importance of the matter at hand.
While there were doubts if and when the event is going to take place, to discuss the Chilul Shabbos involving Israel Railways, Chilul Shabbos that is sanctioned by the Ministry of Transportation, at present, it appears the rabbonim shlita and admorim shlita will gather on Thursday.
The very fact this forum is convening as one will send a powerful warning message to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that the Chilul Shabbos will not be tolerated and if not halted, it is likely to bring about an early end to the current coalition government. This however will be dependent on the ruling of the combined Torah Council.

Considering all the existential risks confronting EY as we approach the yamim noraim, is this railway maintenance work issue something they want to use as a pretext to bring down the government?? Perhaps they will step back and consider what they are doing.
Gadolhadorah: You should DEFINITELY be at this meeting to explain your point to Rav Chaim Shlit’a and every other gadol in Eretz Yisrael; Ashkenazi, sphardi and chassidish !
Gadolhadorah, IMHO, you are taking your name much too seriously. Do you really think they need you to remind them of the risks confronting us? Are you really smarter and more concerned then they are?
Considering all the existential risks confronting EY… perhaps it would be significant to “curry favor” with the Ribbono shel Olam and stand up for His Torah and His Shabbos.
Perhaps the “frum” MKs would like to step back and consider that they were sent to the knesses haminim in order to fight for Yiddishkeit, not for money.
And if the government falls? Who is taking care of us anyway?
