Monsey Hatzolah has advised YWN that their emergency lines are back in operation. Please use the regular number if you have a medical emergency. Do not try to see if the lines work, and only call Hatzolah if you have a medical emergency.
The Chaveirim hotline is up and running as well.
The lines went down do to a widespread Verizon outage in the Rockland County area.

The emergency lines for Monsey Hatzolah are currently down, due to a large Verizon outage in the area. If you have a medical emergency ONLY please call (temporary number removed). Do NOT try to call unless you have an emergency.
This is affecting Rockland Chaverim as well – and their temporary number is (temporary number removed).
It is unknown when this problem will be corrected – but Hatzolah Coordinators are requesting that people should not try the number to see if it works. YWN will publish an update as soon as the problem is corrected.
