Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is under increased police protection after a New Jersey man threatened her, the New York Post reports.
Abedin, who is married to former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), was threatened after Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) accused her of having ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The suspect “is described as a Muslim man,” according to the Post, and has been questioned by the New York Police Department and the State Department.
Condemnation of Bachmann’s efforts to tie Abedin to Brotherhood have been widespread, with top Republicans like House Speaker John Boehner and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) crossing party lines to defend her. Abedin’s defense has been so widespread it has led to speculation she could even run for office in the near future.

Her mother is Moslem Brotherhood. How can this not be a matter of concern? Bachmann didn’t break the news, it’s been publicly known for over a year and nobody has done anything about it. Keith Ellison also has Hamas ties, and nobody seems to care.
As for Boehner and McCain, who cares about them? Especially McCain, whose poor judgment in refusing to go after 0bama for his terrorist connections threw the election, and whose concession speech showed that he never wanted to win. Who cares about him now?
She needs protection from her philandering husband.
Milhouse, what’s so bad about the Moslem Brotherhood? Your Prez worked hard for the past 3 years to help them come to power. Hillary just returned from a trip to the Middle East whose primary objective was to be the first one to give the ‘Brothers’ a hug and a kiss.
Michelle Bachmann should be expelled from congress for her disgusting and totally false attack on a hard working public servant.
Imagine the tea party uproar if she would be accussed of Nazi connections because of her German name.
To No. 1
Now you say we should ignore McCain, Boehner and other senior Republicans who have come out and publicly rebuked and rejected Bachmans crazy rants. The only one who increasingly should be ignored here is Mihouse for continuing to spread such hateful and racist comments about Huma Abedin, a loyal public servant Tonight, videos were posted showingCong. Sensenbrenner, another top Republican leader and highly regarded conservative putting down a constituent at a town hall meeting repeating the Bachman garbage. Yesterday, Eric Cantor made the same point.

One of the reasons I read YWN is because I’m sick and disgusted by the liberal disease that has completely erased common sense and decency in this country. I’m tired of seeing comments on mainstream news sites that support that naivete. Please, leave the political correctness shmutz at the door.
Milhouse… Everytime I read any one of your comments I have been in full agreement thus far. Bravo for your clear vision.
