In the past few days, Israel Electric Company (IEC) employees in the northern region have completed a complex work to deploy wires in a new 400 kW line in the Caesarea sands area south of the industrial zone, crossing Route 65.
The construction of the new 6 km line is part of a complex work to build a 22-kilometer line from Caesarea to Emek Chefer. The project consists of 65 power poles (400 kW) at heights of 60 to 70 meters, and is part of a complex project to close the 400 KW ring and connect stations, and is the main transmission system of the Israel Electric Corporation.
The work to deploy technicians between the columns was carried out at night, as the route passes over roads and railroad tracks and requires the closure of roads. It should be noted that during night work, the level of difficulty increases and a level of safety is required of the highest levels. In this work, new machines are used for deploying wires. These are machines with unique technology of programmable controllers and remote controls.
