The A Lower East Side Shul was defaced with hate graffiti, and police are investigating the incident.
The graffiti was scrawled on Congregation Beth Hachasidim De Polen sometime this week.
“KKK” and other anti-Semitic slurs were spray painted on the building.
The NYPD’s hate crimes task force is investigating the incident, which was first reported to police on Friday at 1:00AM.
The Shul, which is located at 233 East Broadway, was organized in 1904 and is now lead by Rabbi Moshe Stern.
If you have information on the defacing of Beth Hachasidim DePolen downtown or Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew on the UWS, call the NYPD.
