There was panic among some on Thursday afternoon 2 Elul, as visitors to Azriel Tower Shopping Center in Tel Aviv feared they heard gunfire. Within seconds the fear of a terror attack spread among many. As is case in such occurrences, persons begin following others who are running and before anyone realizes what is taking place, many people are certain attack occurred.

In fact, the shouts of “terrorist” were Baruch Hashem unfounded in this case. There was a fight between two people in a store and the ‘gunfire’ appears to have been created by youths enjoying last days of vacation.

The accompanying videos show the panic as people run, soldiers moving with the crowd in an effort to determine what is going on, and police searching the mall.
