In a report that will undoubtedly open a Pandora’s box for High Court of Justice with petitions against residents of Yehuda and Shomron, it documents that thousands of homes are built on private Palestinian land.
The report was not prepared by a Palestinian organization or the PA (Palestinian Authority), but by the IDF’s Civil Administration, documenting 3,455 homes are built on private Arab land. The report regarding these homes, which at best pose legal questions, appeared in the daily Haaretz.
The new Settlements Regulation Law was passed with the intention of providing a solution for such homes. However it has yet to be determined if such actions will stand the test of appeals to the High Court.
According to the report, these homes are divided into three categories: with the first including 1,285 homes that are absolutely on private Arab land. These homes were all constructed in the past twenty years on land that was never declared state land and demolition orders may be forthcoming.
The second category includes 1,048 homes were built on private land that in the past was viewed erroneously as state land. In the past two years, the Blue Line Team was initiated in the Civil Administration, using more elaborate means to measure land and determine boundaries of legal communities. According to date, 1,048 homes were excluded from the Blue Line and were declared illegal after the same team that updated boundaries of the communities made this determination.
The third category includes 1,122 homes built over twenty years ago during a period of little planning and enforcement in Yehuda and Shomron. According to the report, 480 homes in Ofra, 193 in Beit El, 146 in Elon Moreh and dozens in Eli, Psagot, Maale Michmas and other communities are not legal.

In copying this article from left wing media groups you are giving power to the corruption. Do you know what this “private Palestinian land” is? There are no legal owners to this land. The Government decided that it belongs to the arabs therefore jews are not allowed to build there. Anyone else in the world can legally build and live in this land, but if you are a Jew it is illegal! Is there any other government in the world as discriminating as the Israeli government. What other country would get away with banning Jews from living in certain areas while allowing any other race and religion? This is not to mention that it is only the Israelis who pay homeowners tax so in actuality if there is any legal ownership it should belong to the taxpayers who make it possible to live here. But why discriminate?
There is no such thing as private Arab land in Eretz Yisroel. Arabs are illegal squatters on Jewish land, stolen from them by Romans. Every inch of it belongs to Jews.
