An Arab male armed with a knife was apprehended without incident at the Shivtei Yisrael station (southbound) of the Jerusalem light rail. The incident occurred during the morning hours Wednesday, 2 Rosh Chodesh Elul. Yassam commando police were quick to respond to the scene.

The man appeared suspicious and security agents approached him and weapons were drawn when the knife seen in the photo was found concealed on the suspect. The suspect is described as “A resident of eastern Jerusalem”.
