A year after the tragic passing of Leiby Kletzky, a”h, Ami Magazine publishes letters showing the depth of emotion that was felt by all segments of society. In the days following the horrifying news that his body had been found, hundreds of letters poured in to the Kletzy family and their rav, offering support and sharing the world’s grief. Old and young, institutions and individuals, people from all walks of life felt compelled to express their sorrow. The article in Ami also includes an interview about Leiby’s namesake, as well as an update on the work of the Leiby Kletzky Memorial Fund in bringing hope to children with mental health issues.

Seems pretty tasteless, no? I know the family doesn’t appreciate publicity.
To posek: How do you think they got the letters if not from the family!?
#1, do you really think they did this without asking?
The letters are to the family. Obviously they agreed. How else would the magazine get the letters?
