The guidance states that when there’s shrieking (i.e. shrieking “YOU’RE AN IDIOT! I HATE YOU!! DON’T EVER TALK TO ME AGAIN!!!, not shrieking “PUT DOWN THE GUN!! THE KNIFE IS HURTING MY NECK!!, which is a different scenario) that you don’t know is accompanied by violence, it is required to first get a psak as to whether the Halachic criteria of raglayim ladavar has been met or not.
