Israel’s Securlet Company announced that a trojan horse has infected computers of “senior Israeli officials”, collecting date and photos of hard discs. According to reports, experts analyzing some of the infected computers, the attack originated in Iran.
According to a Ynet report, this was confirmed by Russia’s Kaspersky computer security lab, and there are fears the torjan horse has mapped hard discs and possibly stolen information that includes financial records, data from academic institutions and “sensitive information from information involved with national infrastructure”.
