The Israeli Air Force struck at least two targets on Monday night / Tuesday morning, after a rocket fired from Gaza landed in Southern Israel.
According to the IDF, the rocket was launched from Gaza and landed in an open area, causing no injuries or damage.
A spokesman for the Hof Ashkelon regional council said that sirens were also sounded in the nearby towns of Zikim and Carmia. IDF troops dispatched to the area found no damage there as well.
In response, IAF aircraft targeted two Hamas posts in the northern Gaza Strip.
