Following a visit in Cairo with newly-elected Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be arriving in Israel on Sunday night, for a two-day visit.
The senior US official will be holding a series of meetings on Monday, including with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, President Shimon Peres, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Defense Minister Ehud Barak.
Mrs. Clinton is expected to update senior officials regarding harsher economic sanctions against Iran as well as to pressure Israel to resume the diplomatic process with the PA (Palestinian Authority).
