    BDE R Meir Goldberg Administrator of the Vaad Harabonim of DFlatbush Hashgacha division was niftar suddenly earlier today. R Goldberg raised the Hashgacha standards of the Vaad since day one he was there making this hechshar as reliable as the other major Hashgachos are. May his neshama be meilitz Yosher Klall Yisroel.

    How old was he?

    When did he take over the Vaad Rabbonim of Flatbush? (Which might have been at the same time they changed their name to the Vaad Hakashrus of Flatbush.)

    To Joseph. I am not sure how old he was probably in his 70s. He was the Administrator for the Vaad Kashrus of Flatbush for at least fifteen years maybe more.

    I did some work for him at the Vaad and he was a real mentsch. He truly raised the level of kashrus in the Flatbush community. I hope that the Vaad continues in his way.
