The shortage of office space in Jerusalem has boosted rent 35% as property owners are selling apartments previously used as office space. Most offices in downtown Jerusalem are located in residential buildings because of the lack of office buildings. The shortage is especially acute along King George St., Jaffa St., and Ben Yehuda St.
