A 16-year-old Betar Illit resident was taken into custody on Monday night for stabbing a 20-year-old friend, also a resident of the chareidi city. The incident seems to have surrounded a dispute between them. The victim is not cooperating with police.
Police were summoned during the predawn hours Tuesday, 17 Tammuz, for a stabbing incident in the city. The injured man was wounded in his head and transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. His injuries are not described as being serious.
The plaintiff was arraigned on Tuesday morning.

Although Beitar is a very religious city, there are many fall outs who do not adhere to the philosophy of brotherly love.
