Representatives of the Israel Electric Company on Monday, 16 Tammuz, signed an agreement with the PA (Palestinian Authority) to increase the supply of electricity to the Jenin and northern Shomron areas.

According to the agreement signed, a substation will be built to increase the supply to electricity to those areas by 60 megawatts.

The agreement was reached by an inter-office team comprised of representatives of the utility company, the IDF Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), Government Coordinator of Activities in the Territories, and the PA (Palestinian Authority) Ministry of Energy.
