Python Causes Panic In Public Rest Room In Tiveria

According to snake catcher Itti Myers of Katzrin, the snake that he carted off from a public rest room in Tiveria on Sunday, was a Burmese Python. He explained it was a young snake, about 3-years-old, measuring about three meters (yards) in length and judging by the snake’s behavior, it was most likely being raised in a home. He warned that while many people like raising snakes, this is not a particularly great snake for the home since it can grow quite large.

Wikipedia: Burmese Python (Python molurus bivittatus) is the largest subspecies of the Indian Python and one of the 6 largest snakes in the world, native to a large variation of tropic and subtropic areas of Southern- and Southeast Asia. They are often found near water and are sometimes semi-aquatic, but can also be found in trees. Wild individuals average 3.7 meters (12 ft) long, but may reach up to 5.74 meters (19 ft).

  1. A twelve-foot long (when fully grown) snake that is capable of killing people, and can eat small animals (including even small alligators, goats, deer).
Idiots think they are cute pets until they get too big, and release them in the wild where they become a problem. At least Israel is dry enough they can’t be too big a problem (as they are in Florida).
