As part of the Getting to Known the Shomron campaign, residents of Ashkelon and Sderot were hosted in Shomron last week to give them a break from the fears of the Red Alert siren, which sounded all too often last week.

According to organizers of the campaign, over 25,000 people have visited the Shomron Regional Council during the last half year and efforts are now being focused on residents of areas in rocket range, the over 250,000 southern residents being pounded by Hamas rockets launched from Gaza.
