The chosson is from Chevron Yeshiva Givat Mordechai and the kallah from Seminary Meir in Bnei Brak. Last night, Wednesday, the eve of 1 Tammuz 5772 was their sixth meeting, and the family explains they were closing things up and preparing for the vort this motzei shabbos.
The couple was traveling on Highway 443, the Jerusalem-Modi’in Highway as the chosson was bringing his kallah back home, towards Bnei Brak when a driver failed to stop for a red traffic signal, slamming into their car.
The vehicle was heavily damaged, but B’chasdei Hashem, the two emerged with light injuries. They were transported to Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv complaining of back and other pains. Baruch Hashem they were both discharged during the morning hours.
The accident pushed them to ‘close’ on final arrangement, and the vort will be held with Hashem’s help on Thursday night, the eve of 2 Tammuz, in the home of the kallah in Bnei Brak.
