75 new MDA EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) in Yehuda and Shomron have completed their training and joined the volunteers of the organization.
75 new EMTs in MDA who have recently completed their training and received advanced first aid kits and medical equipment that will help them save lives throughout Yehuda and Shomron. MDA Chief Eli Bin said, “There are no words in my opinion much toward anyone who chooses free up time and energy for the sake of saving lives.”
Last week, a special ceremony was held in the presence of council heads and senior officials from the communities on the occasion of the completion of three EMT courses in Yehuda and Shomron. 75 new volunteers from Adam, Alon Shvut, Elazar, Efrat, Beit El, Beit Horon, Betar Illit, Dolev, Har Gilo, Kochav Yaakov, Kfar Eldad, Karmei Tzur, Maale Levona, Maale Amos, N’vei Daniel, Nokdim, Ofra, Psagot, Kiryat Arba, Tekoa and more.
Having received their vests and equipment bags, they will join the on-call volunteers throughout Yehuda and Shomron via the smartphone application that determines which volunteers are closed to a call based on call and one’s level of certification.
MDA Jerusalem District Chief Shlomo Petrover, a paramedic and one who is a resident of the Shomron, addressed the graduation.
“I appreciate you for their volunteerism, it’s not self-evident, MDA’s work is different from other organizations and focuses every day on saving lives. This is especially important in this special area. I thank the mayor and the council heads for their cooperation and wish us all a great success.”
