MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Yaakov Katz has moved his Knesset office to the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El as the government prepares to evict 30 families from a number of apartment buildings in that neighborhood.
When asked why he decided on the move, Katz explained “I am a public figure and I am therefore compelled to set an example” the daily HaMevaser reports.
Katz stressed that no one is to lift a finger to soldiers, but there will be significant civil disobedience, locking hands and holding on tight as police move to remove them, for he feels that are responsible to combat the evil decree and shout at the top of their lungs that this is simply too much.
Katz adds that he is confident if Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu finds a way to save the homes, the Ulpana neighborhood will be renamed the Netanyahu neighborhood. Alternatively, if he fails and moves ahead with the expulsion, the area will be known as the Netanyahu ruins and any and all visitors to the area will learn of the events that occurred and how the prime minister of Israel acted.
In the meantime, Katz calls on the tzibur to continue to be mispallel to save the homes.

nice step by him
Katz stressed that no one is to lift a finger to soldiers,
But the soldiers (or more likely the Yassam thugs) will not have such orders; what happens when they start beating people as they did at Amona? On that occasion the protesters defended themselves, as was their right; is Katz saying that on this occasion they should allow themselves to be beaten without resistance?!
