Police on Wednesday morning, 27 Sivan, arrested M.B., a senior activist affiliated with the Peleg branch. The arrest was made as he returned from shachris, with police waiting outside him home.

According to a Kikar Shabbos report, police in recent days have summoned numerous Peleg activists for questioning maintaining to the case in which companies were pressured and threated to advertise in the affiliated HaPeles newspaper. Numerous arrests were made in that suspected extortion case.

It is pointed out the latest arrest and continuing questioning of Peleg officials is connected to the case and the widespread arrests made weeks ago.
