A 19-year-old eastern Jerusalem resident was arrested on suspicion of incitement to terrorism. Police report they have been monitoring the activities of the suspect for the past two weeks, postings on Facebook and Instagram, leading to the decision to place him in custody.

In the posts under his name, he expresses support for terrorist organizations.

The arrest was made on Monday night, the eve of 13 Sivan after the prosecutor gave the green light. Questioning of the suspect by police has revealed there are others involved.

He was arraigned and his remand was extended until Sunday, 17 Sivan.
