Shuvu celebrated the Bar Mitzvah of 60 Shuvu Bar Mitzvah boys last night in Yerushalayim.

The remarkably inspiring event took place at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel and began with Mincha.

Shuvu was honored to have many distinguished guests participating, including Shuvu’s Nassi Dayan Abraham Shlita who flew in specially for the event, the Chief Rabbi of Israel Harav David Lau Shlita, Chairman of the Finance Committee MK Rav Moshe Gafni, Director General of the Chinuch Atzmai Rav Eliezer Sorotzkin, Shuvu UK Chairman R’ David Blachman, Director of Shuvu’s Kiruv Rabbonim Project Rav Yehuda Butterman, and many of Shuvu’s major supporters including R’ Ralph Herzka, R’ Reuven Wolf, R’ Moshe Fuchs, R’ Bernie Englard, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Penson, Mr. Chaim Turpiashvili, Mr. Moishe Schimmel, and Mrs. Tirtza Faust. Even President Rivlin joined the Simcha by sending a video of him giving a Bracha to the Bar Mitzvah boys, and to Shuvu for its efforts to give a top-notch Chinuch.

The Bar Mitzvah boys received Tefillin from the guests, and several said Bar Mitzvah Drashos about their Kabbalas Ol Torah U’Mitzvos.

One Bar Mitzvah boy from Beit Shemesh brought his violin and delighted the crowd with a beautiful rendition of “Tov Li Toras Picha”.

Several graduates spoke as well, and thanked Shuvu for turning their lives around to become frum, productive members of Israeli society.

All in all, the evening was a tremendous display of Kiddush Hashem!
