Gas Prices Fall For Seventh Consecutive Week In New Jersey

Motorists continue to see lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic said that the average price of regular gasoline in New Jersey on Friday was $3.57, down six cents from last week. It’s also much less than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.80.

Meanwhile, the national average price fell by four cents to $3.67. That’s also much lower than the national average from a year ago, which was $3.81.

This is the seventh straight week that prices have fallen in New Jersey.

Analysts said that the falling prices are mostly due to declining crude oil prices and easing Mideast tensions.
