The Arabs have been diverting water from Israel for years, a known fact, and the latest victims are the residents of the Shomron community of Migdalim. PA (Palestinian Authority) residents regularly tap into Israeli water lines and steal water.
Many Shomron communities have known the same fate as their water lines were compromised by illegal PA use of existing Israeli water infrastructure. PA residents regularly help themselves to water by stealing from the existing Israeli infrastructure.
In Migdalim, the 80 families fear another summer of drought conditions and Yossi Dagan, who heads the Shomron Regional Council has brought the matter to the IDF Civil Administration and other authorities in an effort to solve the matter. According to Dagan, who has already brought the matter to a number of cabinet ministers, if corrective actions are not taken it will be a dry summer for a number of communities this summer.
