Ze’ev Kashash, a former executive director of United Hatzalah, 40, will assume the position and director-general of the Elad Municipality. The appointment has already been approved by the Interior Ministry. the city council is expected to approve the appointment in the next session, which is scheduled for the Monday after Shavuos.
It is pointed out there has not been any director-general in the city during the past three years, and it is entirely likely Yahadut Hatorah will request the post.
Kashash was among the founders of United Hatzalah, serving the organization for over a decade. He announced his intentions to step down before Pesach.
