BoysWork – Satmar THANKFULLY doesn’t go to the Kosel. Just imagine how they would destroy that one place we have left. There would be partitions everywhere for the two fighting brothers. Nonstop signs, pahkavillim hanging, protests, eggs thrown, rocks flying, people bullied, fist fights.
Now it’s a wonderful holy place we have with peace and quiet to go daven and pour our hearts and souls out to the Robono Shel Olam! Let them stay in Rodney or Hooper Streets where they belong.

Imagine the Kosel on Friday night with Satmar there? Just think about it. They would destroy the achdus. They are the most intolerant of people. On Friday night there are kipa sruga, Streimlech, yerushalmi, Carlebach, Dati leumi, Yeshivish, Sefardim, Ahskenaz —- Minyanim for all. People mixing with others and davening in othe rminyanim. All biachdus. If Satmar would be there they would be protesting against every single group just trying to be oved hashem in their own way.
Unbelievable. Gorgeous photos of Jews flocking to the holiest site in Judaism at a time when our claim to it is under attack by the nations of the world, and you have to bash the Satmar Chassidim? Better you should praise Hashem’s people for coming out in droves to our holiest site to commemorate the nes that occurred in the Holy Land 50 years ago, when our enemies who were much greated in number wanted to destroy us and didn’t succeed.
Kotlorism: I have been to the Kotel on a Friday night, and yes, it is probably one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. There are no words to describe it; one needs to witness it to get the full effect. And I agree with you with you about Satmar. Sadly, my minyan attracts several of these chevra, and their behavior in shul is intolerable.

Jerusalem Woman: Believe me, nobody praises Hashem more than me when I think of the miracles that He performed 50 years ago. However, you won’t get a single satmar chasid to praise Hashem for this. Since the day a satmar is born, he is instilled with a hatred towards Eretz Yisrael. When I told one that I was making my youngest son’s bar mitzvah at the kotel, he said “its just a wall”; and then tried preaching his rebbe’s drivel about the “6 dark days”. So yes, I bash satmar and their hate towards what is obviously a gift from Hashem.

They teach them to throw eggs at a Suburban while making believe Netanyahu is in it. They teach them to make the most hateful, venomous speeches against Israel. And lets not forget what the Rebbe of KJ said the day after 3 young boys were buried after being murdered. It’s no wonder satmar has the highest rate of OTDs. So go ahead, protest all you want. You can’t refute the truth.
All of these comments by many different posters are sadly true. While some of the Satmar mosdos perform deeds of chesed, the much larger degree of hatred and violence they exhibit towards anything related to the medinah, the IDF or any government institutions and the mindless infighting of these two brothers here in the U.S. is great chilul hashem. Lets hope that there will be a special “basement” in olam haboh for those who create such sinas chinam and chilul hashem.
